We believe that every child should know how to swim, and that’s why we provide swimming lessons to children of all skill levels. Our focus for all children is helping them learn water safety and providing life-saving habits. We help swimmers become more aware of their movements in the water, as well as their own buoyancy.
At SwimJim, we take a careful and focused approach to swimming lessons. We help our students build confidence in the water so they can be safe and have fun, all on their own pace. We make sure each class has a low student-to-instructor ratio, so every child gets the amount of attention they need. Our beginner and infant/toddler swimming lesson students focus on developing effective habits and techniques in the water, including the back float, breath control, and how to react in a water emergency.
As our students progress, they move on to foundational knowledge and skills, including breathing, arm movements, stroke timing, head rotation, and wall turns for all competitive strokes. Our goal is to provide our students with skills and abilities that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. If you feel that your child might need extra one on one attention, or that he/she would perform better in a smaller class setting, we also offer semi-private and private swimming lessons.
Each student has a standard $35 registration fee charged once every calendar year. The pricing is based off the number of lessons given each month, per child. Our class pricing is included:
