Guidelines for Parents & Caregivers

  • Parent Waiting Area: Parents must wait in the designated area away from the pool edge.
  • Progress Comparison: Celebrate your child’s individual progress without comparisons. Just as children learn to walk and talk at different ages, they will also progress in swimming at their own pace. Praise even the smallest accomplishments.
  • Class Continuity: Regular attendance promotes skill retention and advancement.
  • Class Grouping: Grouped by age and ability for optimal learning.
  • Feedback and Progress: Direct any concerns or requests for progress reports to our deck personnel or office, avoiding poolside discussions.
  • Supporting Instructors: Help reinforce learning by avoiding making exceptions for performing skills.
