Students learn locomotion to safety as they learn backstroke, elementary backstroke, and beginning freestyle.

Skills Learned: Intro to bilateral breathing, backstroke, swimming with and maintaining a balanced streamline in the water with complete independence
Students in this class will focus on gaining muscle control and improving core strength for proper arm extension and kicking. These skills will help in the development of elementary backstroke and early freestyle/safety crawl.
